1. Your right to cancel within three business days

Under California Civil Code §1694.1, you may cancel your Belavo membership agreement, without any penalty or obligation, within three business days after the day you first agreed to it (the day you confirmed your subscription with Apple, including the start of a free trial). If you cancel within that time, any amount you have paid will be refunded in full within 10 days.

How to cancel: cancel the subscription in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, then email [email protected] with the email on your account and the words "3-day cancellation", or write to Dopin LLC d/b/a Belavo, 254 Chapman Rd, Ste 208 #25323, Newark, DE 19702. We will confirm the cancellation and arrange the refund through Apple. You may also cancel by any other written means that shows your intent to cancel.

Notice of your right to cancel. You, the buyer, may cancel this agreement, without any penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the original contract seller's third business day following the date of this contract, excluding Sundays and holidays. To cancel this agreement, mail or deliver a signed and dated notice, or send a telegram or email, which states that you, the buyer, are cancelling this agreement, or words of similar effect. This notice must be sent to Dopin LLC d/b/a Belavo at the address above or to [email protected].

Civil Code §1694.2 also lets you cancel if you become unable to use the Service because of death, disability, or relocation more than 50 miles from any area where Belavo operates. Contact us and we will arrange a prorated refund through Apple.

2. Automatic renewal disclosure

As required by California Business and Professions Code §17600 and following: Belavo membership is an automatically renewing monthly subscription. The price, the length of the free trial, the date of the first charge, and how to cancel are shown on the membership screen before you confirm with Apple, and are set out in the Billing Terms. Your subscription renews each month at the stated price until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time through Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, and your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase and will ask for your consent where Apple requires it.

There is therefore nothing to opt out of, and no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link is required. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal on belavo.app. We use sensitive personal information only for purposes the law permits without a limitation right. Your rights to know, correct, delete and obtain a copy of your information, and how to use them, are in Section 7 of the Privacy Policy. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

6. Safety policy

Our Safety Tips page is Belavo's safety policy: it describes prohibited conduct, how to report, how reports are handled, and resources. California does not currently require dating services to file a safety policy. If the Online Dating Safety and Transparency Act (SB 957) or related legislation is enacted, this page will link to the policy as filed with the California Attorney General and any additional required disclosures.

7. Minors

Belavo is for adults 18 and over and is not directed to minors. California Business and Professions Code §22581 (removal of content posted by minors) does not apply because minors may not register. If a minor has registered, report it at [email protected] and we will remove the account and its content.
